Terms of sale

These terms of sale apply when you buy something from Invity. They supplement our terms and privacy policy.

1. The parties

The agreement is between you as the buyer and us as the seller:

2. What you buy

You buy the publishing of one event on Invity. Once the event is published, the invitation gets its own link, your guests can open it and reply, and you can send invitations, reminders and messages to as many guests as you like for as long as the event exists. You pay once per event.

Creating an account, building an event, editing it and previewing it as your guests will see it is free. You only pay when you want to publish.

Add-ons, for example SMS, are shown with their price before you buy them.

3. Price

Publishing an event costs 199 kr. incl. VAT, of which VAT is 39,80 kr.. The price is shown before you create the event and again on the payment page. The price you see on the payment page is the final price. All prices are in Danish kroner.

4. Payment

You pay with MobilePay through Vipps MobilePay. You are sent to MobilePay to approve the payment and then returned to Invity. The amount is charged when the payment is approved. We do not receive or store your card or account details.

5. Delivery and receipt

The event is published as soon as the payment is completed. You receive a receipt at the email address your account was created with. If no receipt arrives, check your spam folder and contact us.

6. No right of withdrawal

Publishing an event is the delivery of digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, and delivery happens at once. When you pay, you give your express consent to delivery starting immediately and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. This follows from section 18(2)(13) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven).

You accept this when you tick the box on the payment page.

7. Returns and refunds

Publishing is a digital service, so there is nothing to return. Refunds apply instead:

  • If we cannot publish your event after you have paid, we refund the full amount.
  • We do not refund because your party is cancelled or moved. The event is still yours, and you can change its date and content.
  • If you believe you are entitled to a refund for another reason, write to us. We consider each request individually.

Refunds go to the payment method you paid with.

8. If we close Invity

If we close Invity as a service, the termination section of our terms applies: you get at least 60 days' notice so you can download your data.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy, contact us first. We always try to find a solution.

If that does not lead to agreement, you can complain to Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager (the Danish consumer mediation team), Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark, naevneneshus.dk. Note that a minimum amount applies to the complaints they handle; the price of one event is below that limit.

10. Governing law

Purchases from Invity are governed by Danish law, and disputes are settled by the Danish courts.
